The Office of Undergraduate Research offers travel support to undergraduate students from all academic areas, whether they are working on projects sponsored by O.U.R. or by others. The travel support is limited to $500 and is offered ONLY to undergraduates that are going to a conference or meeting for giving a talk or presenting a poster.
For other reasons (non-conference presentations), such as field trip, REU travel support, etc., the funds are limited and they will be allocated after review by a committee formed by Advisory Board members and the Director of O.U.R.
All requests for travel support should be submitted to our@lamar.edu and addressed to the Director of O.U.R.
