Welcome to the fascinating world of Electrical & Computer Engineering. The world of electronic devices & circuits, communication systems, control & instrumentation, power systems, renewable & green energy, signal processing, and photonics, optics & electromagnetics, embedded hardware & software systems, network engineering & cybersecurity, robotics & artificial intelligence, and microchips. Therefore, your bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering is your gateway to a variety of technical careers.

Using a unique Flexible Learning System, the Department offers:

• ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCE). We will work on getting ABET accreditation after graduating the first student. 
• 5-year dual BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Master of Engineering (ME), and Master of Engineering Science (MES)
• Doctor of Engineering (DE)
• Two Undergraduate Certificates in Power & Energy Engineering and Instrumentation & Control
• One Graduate Certificate in Power and Energy Engineering
• Two (4+1) accelerated programs: BSEE/ME or MES & BSEE/MBA

The Department uses a very flexible system that suits everyone’s schedule and needs. We offer two sections for each graduate and undergraduate course: face-to-face and online. Every semester, the student can select all courses face-to-face, some courses face-to-face and others online, or all courses online. Students in the online sections have the option to attend live lecture with the face-to-face students, or to study asynchronously using the recordings and course materials posted on Blackboard.

The Department has high quality faculty who graduated from top universities with broad research areas in Computer networks, Cybersecurity, telecommunications, VLSI, Circuits, Microelectronics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligent, Machine Learning, Applied and Computational Electromagnetics, Signal Processing, and Power and energy systems. The Department has for research labs:

• Applied DSP Research Laboratory,
• Computer Network Research Laboratory,
• Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (RICS) Lab, and
• VLSI CAD & Signal Integrity Laboratory.
