Student of the Month
Each month during the academic year (September-May), the history department honors one undergraduate history major or minor as the Student of the Month. All previous winners are eligible for the department's Student of the Year award.

Originally from southern Georgia, Peyton Macdonald spent six years as a sonar technician in the U.S. Navy, visiting such places as Dubai, Bahrain, and Vietnam during her two deployments. These days, she is a wife, mom, and history major. Upon graduation, she plans to attend law school and become a real estate attorney.
