Individuals eligible for a retiree email account are defined as all of those persons who have retired from faculty and staff positions at Â鶹AV in accordance with the Teacher Retirement System (TRS).
Retirees will receive a Microsoft 365 account that provides access only to web-based email, Calendar. Please be aware that if you are using Teams, you will lose access to this service.
Unfortunately, no. Retirees, who are former employees, may have sensitive or regulated information from their past employment. Exporting this data to a .PST file bypasses security controls designed to protect such information, potentially violating security and privacy regulations.
After registration, a retiree retains their email as long as they log into their LU email at least once every 90 days. If you do not log into your LU email at least once every 90 days, the account will become deactivated. You can contact the Â鶹AV IT Service Desk to re-enable your account, if necessary, but your email messages may not be able to be restored.
