Don't see the program you are looking for among Â鶹AV's study abroad offerings? No problem. Â鶹AV students CAN join programs offered by other accredited institutions.

  • Â鶹AV students MUST receive written approval of course transfer from the appropriate Department Chair
  • Â鶹AV students will be expected to pay tuition and fees to the host institution.
  • Â鶹AV students are eligible for scholarships, although in certain cases preference may be given to students who participate on Â鶹AV faculty-led programs.

The British Studies Program is organized by Southern Miss through an academic consortium of 13 colleges and universities. Â鶹AV is member of this consortium. The purpose of the consortium is to promote a more profound understanding of British culture and society among students and faculty through scholarly and educational activities Credit hours are awarded by The University of Southern Mississippi, a fully accredited institution of higher learning.

The European Council seeks to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the cultures and societies of Europe by sponsoring programs and activities for the University System of Georgia's students, faculty and institutions. The EC sponsors summer study abroad programs for USG students and transients, including students at Â鶹AV, at seven locations in Europe that last 2-5 weeks. Courses are taught largely by faculty from USG colleges and universities and students blend classroom experiences with group and individual travel as they earn academic credit. 

European Council program locations include: England (London), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin), Ireland (Waterford), Russia (St. Petersburg), Scotland (Edinburgh), and Spain (Madrid).
