Burnout in the Workplace
One in four people admit to being burned out and detached from their work. Causes are often related to feeling overwhelmed, trying to balance work and family priorities, or just doing more with less. To prevent getting burned out, practice these four skills: change problems to challenges, schedule time for stress management, separate self-worth from your work, and find one thing to be grateful for each day. To talk to someone about feeling burned out or unsettled, contact the Ombuds office at (409) 880-8039 or visit our website for more information.
