Brittny Bratcher-Rasmus is an assistant professor in the Health and Kinesiology Department at Â鶹AV Univiersty. Bratcher graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health in 2012 and a Master's Degree in Health Promotion in 2014 from Â鶹AV Univeristy. In 2022, she earned a Ph.D. at Texas Woman's University in Health Studies.
Bratcher has over a decade of experience in public health and health education in corporate health and local and federal government health programs as a public health practitioner working with stakeholders and providers to promote quality improvement and health equity. She has held the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) credential since 2013.
Bratcher enjoys engaging her students in critical discussions about health equity, health promotion, and community well-being. Her goals, as an educator, are to help her students develop the skills and knowledge needed to address real-world health challenges, contribute to innovative research, shape curriculum development and create inclusive learning environments that foster growth and understanding.
