The Â鶹AV Doctor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering is designed to prepare you, as a practicing mechanical engineer, to advance research, development and education for addressing national and global challenges in the research, design, development, manufacturing and testing of mechanical devices.
This program offers competitive scholarships and assistantships for you as a highly qualified student with research interests compatible with those of the mechanical engineering faculty.
Justification Engineering Project: The preparation of proposals for advanced engineering work. The student will be given individual assistance in preparing a proposal for his field study.
Professional Seminar: Advanced topics suitable for research along with research procedures will be discussed. Field study organization and content together with doctoral research problems and progress will be presented. Topics will vary each semester and course may be repeated for credit. Registration and completion for three semesters is required of all doctoral candidates.
